We hope you are doing well and getting excited about the start of another wonderful school year at Solid Foundation Christian Academy!
As we prepare to welcome our students, we want to share a few important reminders and updates with you.
Annual Registration & Administrative Fee
As a private school, Solid Foundation Christian Academy has administrative costs associated with enrolling and preparing each student for the school year. These costs include enrollment processing, student records, academic planning, classroom preparation, technology and instructional resources, and other administrative services necessary to operate our school and prepare for our students. Even though many of your children receive scholarships, we receive that funding mid October for many of our students.
The annual registration and administrative fee is $450 per student.
In previous years, we have not always required this fee from every family, as we have tried to be sensitive to each family's unique circumstances. We recognize that every family has different needs, and we have always tried to work with families when possible.
Moving forward, however, the $450 registration and administrative fee will be an annual school fee for all students. We believe establishing this as an annual fee will allow us to plan more consistently and ensure that we have the resources necessary to prepare for and support our students.
We also understand that paying $450 at one time may not be convenient for every family. Payment plans are available, and we are happy to work with families to make the fee more manageable.
If you have questions or need to discuss a payment arrangement, please contact the school office.
Student Technology
We would also like each student to have access to a tablet or laptop for use with classroom instruction, digital assignments and assessments., Google Classroom, educational programs, and other technology-based learning activities.
If your child already has a reliable tablet or laptop, there is no need to purchase another device. If you need assistance determining what type of device would be appropriate, please reach out to us.
Parent Orientation – Thursday AUGUST 13TH at 6:00 PM
We are excited to see all of our parents at Parent Orientation this Thursday at 6:00 PM.

Parking: Please park in the back of the building.
The easiest landmark is Rays Road. When traveling on Memorial Drive and turning onto Rays Road, you will see a driveway with a sign that reads “St. Timothy’s.” Turn into that driveway and follow the arrow around to the back of the building, where you will find parking.
Please remember that children should not attend Parent Orientation. This evening is designed specifically for parents so that we can provide important information and prepare everyone for the school year.
Student Meet & Greet – Friday
We know our students are excited to meet their teachers!
Students will have an opportunity to come by the school on Friday between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to say hello to their teacher and become familiar with their classroom.
School Blazer
Finally, please make sure your child has his or her school blazer with the SFCA logo before the first day of school. The blazer is an important part of our school uniform and our goal of presenting our students as a unified school community.
