In 2003, Solid Foundation Christian Academy was born out of the drastic inadequacies one elementary school teacher saw in traditional school settings.

Something needed to change....

Solid Foundation was founded with the understanding that the public school methodology does not work for every student. Some students need an educational alternative in order to be successful. That alternative could be more individualization, a smaller class size, or a more personal approach to learning.

Our Christian School believes that each child that comes to us was sent to us from God, bearing God’s image. We seek to partner with Christian families who are committed to our vision and mission.

Our Mission

To provide a Christ-centered, high-quality education that educates, exposes, and creates a well-balanced child and meets the needs of each child as an individual, and to work in unison with a home-school approach to educate and nurture our student’s intellectual, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical growth to prepare them for responsible service in the kingdom of God.

Our Vision

Vision is the insight God provides to instruct and direct the path of an organization. Our school will be known as a diverse Christian community that, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, provides families with Christ-centred education through dynamic programming, and dedicated professional staff, in an environment conducive to learning, to develop responsible servants in God’s world.

The goal for Solid Foundation Christian Academy is to build academic and social success in all students through specialized curriculum, differentiated instruction, and one-on-one support.  Our teachers have classroom as well as real world experiences dealing with students who have different needs.

Solid Foundation Christian Academy uses a Curriculum unwrapped and rewritten for students who may not fall in the average category for which the standards were written.  We offer core fundamental classes including Math, Language Arts, Reading, Science, Social Studies, and Life Skills. In addition, we offer enrichment classes including Physical Education, Art and Creativity, and Social Communication. The curriculum is adapted, and lesson plans are written for each class, then further differentiated as needed for the individual student. We choose from various publications such as Accelerated Christian Education, Abeka, and/or other curriculum materials that meet the needs of the individual when selecting the correct plan of action for each student.

We serve some of Atlanta's brightest students. Some of the students served by Solid Foundation Christian Academy have been professionally identified as having a specific academic difference, including a wide range from Autism and ADHD to slow processing, ADD, and speech. We also have students who participate in the Dual Enrollment Program for high school students.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whosoever believeth in him shall have eternal life.
