Dual Enrollment Program
*Please note, we are not enrolling students into the Dual Enrollment Program at this time
Together, Solid Foundation Christian Academy and Georgia Military College offer dual enrollment to qualified high school students in grades 9, 10, and 11. This gives our students a head start on their college careers, taking college courses and earning credits that will transfer to most colleges and universities throughout Georgia and the US.
We are specifically seeking responsible rising 9th and 10th grade students who are currently enrolled in the public school. The parents of these students knows that their child could do college work if they had the opportunity, but they know they will not get that opportunity at their current school. We want to give that child an opportunity if they can meet the requirements below:
Students must qualify for the program as follows:
Must have a minimum of 2.7 grade point average (transcript)
Must have at least 3 strong references from current teachers that tell that the student has a very strong work ethic.
Must have a passing score on the College Placement Exam the Accuplacer in Math, Reading, Writing. (3 hour test)
Must be able to meet the financial obligation of our school
Maintain at least a 2.5 grade point average while in the program.
